Why?
Teen Voices is a non-profit organization that empowers teen girls in Boston to become better writers and leaders. Thousands of girls around the world also count on Teen Voices to publish their work and offer honest, positive stories that address real issues in their lives. For almost 25 years, we have been running this program but right now we are in a serious financial crisis. Due to a recent decrease in funding, we are looking to the community to help us. Our current goal is to raise $30,000 before August 1st to keep our program running.
For only $2, you can refill your plate as many times as you want, and there will be ALL KINDS of food — West Indian, Spanish, Haitian, you name it! $2 for drinks, water is free. And all of the proceeds will be donated to Teen Voices. There will be a DJ, food, face painting and much more. So come and support us!
