deafmuslimpunx:

salaams.

For those of you who have disabilities (deaf, blind, crippled/mobility, etc..) who want to study overseas or volunteer abroad, there is a program called Mobility International USA which will help you get started and offer you resources.

If you have a disability and you’ve always worried about how you can study or volunteer overseas, you don’t need to worry about communication issues, accessibility, or accomodation services anymore. They have people who handle that stuff, and they will point you in the right direction. Your disability does not have to be an obstacle in the way of your dreams to go overseas. I hope you will find these links useful.

They’ve helped deaf students and deaf volunteers before. I have communicated with them before, they were extremely helpful and supportive.

Here is the Facebook page.
