I also want to know why it’s okay say “the political is personal” but only when you’re white and attractive and quirky and “feminist,” but when people of color or trans* folk do the same, they are simply just “social justice bloggers.”
This means that you do not understand that we are also feel human beings that have just as much depth as you could be capable of having. You want to reduce us to an antagonistic caricature rather than individuals only because we don’t put up with your shit. Because we don’t make ourselves into being victims like you do.
I am really interested in knowing why.
